One of the biggest difficulties for the franchisor is that the franchisees do not declare their real income. Therefore the franchisors are taking measures to protect their benefit by implementing systems that on one hand are recording the real income of their franchisees and on another hand are crypting and signing the same information in meanings of protecting if from changes and for identification. Such system has a server that accumulates and stores the data from each Point of sale (POS) and also decrypts it. The encryption and signing is done with an USB Crypto dongle which is connected to each POS. If the dongle is not plugged and identified in the system the POS is not allowed to operate. When a documents is printed from the POS on it is printed a barcode and in the same moment its contents in encrypted and sent on the server. The encryption is done with the Private key and it can be only decrypted with the corresponding Public key pair on the server. This method does not allow the information to be changed. The barcode is used for games and lotteries, which primary purpose is to catch point of sales, which are issuing fake documents and producing invalid barcodes. The system incorporates the latest technologies and the advantages of the data signing and encryption together with the unique solution.
